Road Trip South

Road Trip South
We had planned our road trip in advance and was hoping for the weather to behave and as you know Mother Nature has a mind of her own. It not only rained, it poured and was cold. Dropping into the low 30’s at night and highs of middle 40’s during the day. Of course how can you complain it was January and cold is normal but sunshine would have been nice. We had been locked in the house for weeks and really needed this trip so nothing could stop us. I love I95, just mile after mile of freedom.. “On the Road Again”! First stop Four Oaks, North Carolina about 30 minutes south of Raleigh. Nancy and Tom (Mary’s sister), beautiful people and great friends are expecting us and we can’t wait.We had lunch in Pinehurst the next afternoon a quaint charming town next to the famous golf course “Pinehurst”.“Click on Image to enlarge”. Who knew that I would be embraced passionately in the exposure of Digital Photography while combining it with nature, trail hiking, and road trips.
